A Port & Friends Wine Store em parceria com a WineStone Group tem o prazer de apresentar o evento: “The Legacy of Krohn“.
Fundada em 1865 por dois jovens empresários noruegueses, a Wiese & Krohn conquistou a sua reputação pela produção de vinhos do Porto de excelência, com destaque para os seus Colheitas Tawny excecionais. A casa Porto Krohn e a sua propriedade emblemática, a Quinta do Retiro Novo, situada no coração do Douro, tiveram o seu renascimento após a aquisição pelo grupo WineStone em 2023.
Em abril de 2026, haverá uma oportunidade única para explorar a coleção de vinhos do Porto da Krohn e provar alguns dos seus vinhos fora de série. David Baverstock e Mafalda Bahia Machado, nomeadamente, o chairman e a enóloga responsável pelos vinhos do Porto/Douro e Vinhos Verdes, irão guiar-nos através destas preciosidades e falar sobre os planos futuros desta casa histórica.
Os vinhos em prova serão os seguintes:

– 1925 VB Seco
– 1961 Colheita
– 1963 Vintage
– 1964 Colheita Branco
– 1966 Colheita
– 1970 Vintage
– 1983 Colheita

Para além da Masterclass, o evento inclui também um jantar no emblemático Restaurante 3 Pipos, que contará com algumas surpresas como habitualmente. O jantar será acompanhado por vinhos tranquilos, e o Menu completo será brevemente anunciado.
Este é o 6º evento do ciclo “Provas Fora de Série” organizado pela Port & Friends Wine Store, cujo objectivo é a divulgação do património vínico de Portugal.

Port & Friends Wine Store in partnership with the WineStone Group is pleased to present the event: “The Legacy of Krohn“.
Established in 1865 by two young Norwegian businessmen, Wiese & Krohn has earned a distinguished reputation for producing superb Ports, with a particular focus on their exceptional Single Harvest Tawnies. The Krohn port house and its flagship property, Quinta do Retiro Novo, located at the heart of Douro Valley, have undergone a rebirth in the wake of the WineStone Group’s acquisition in 2023.
Now, in April 2026, there will be a unique opportunity to delve into Krohn’s Port library and taste some of their outstanding Ports. David Baverstock and Mafalda Bahia Machado, namely, the chairman and the winemaker for Port/Douro and Vinhos Verdes, will guide us through these precious stocks and talk about the future plans for this historic house.

This is the 6th event of the series “Provas Fora de Série” (aka “Out of the Norm” Tastings) held by Port & Friends Wine Store, aiming at the promotion of the Portuguese wine heritage.
