Powerful and structured, with incredible freshness and perfect levels of acidity. Very attractive aromas of bergamot and cistus combined with hints of spice, so typical of Touriga Nacional, are very evident in this wine. Vale da Teja’s Touriga Franca has produced some of the best examples of this variety, making beautifully floral wines with velvety ripe tannins. The combination of these two varieties was complemented by a small amount of Sousão, from a more granitic area of the Quinta, which brought acidity and minerality to the wine. RP95, JS95, WE94

Quinta do Vesúvio produces muscular yet smooth wines with an incredibly refined structure that reflects great harmony and elegance. The Port wines are big and unctuous with juicy fruit, and at the same time with immense grace. These wines, while young, are dark red in color and always very aromatic, with hints of violets and wild spring flowers.
