Quinta do Vesúvio Vintage Port 2012 is dark purple in color, indicative of a voluptuous wine of great success. It is opulent on the nose, with the rich, ripe blackberry aromas of the predominant Touriga Nacional. This is balanced with the minerality and floral fragrance of the Touriga Franca. It has a very fine structure and soft tannins. The Tinta Amarela gives the wine a soft, velvety mouthfeel and the Sousão offers a hint of peppery spice. RV18, WS94, WE94

Quinta do Vesúvio produces muscular yet smooth wines with an incredibly refined structure that reflects great harmony and elegance. The Port wines are big and unctuous with juicy fruit, and at the same time with immense grace. These wines, while young, are dark red in color and always very aromatic, with hints of violets and wild spring flowers.
