Description
The Campolargo family has been producing wine in Bairrada for over 50 years. Currently in its third and fourth generations, the first wines launched on the market under the Campolargo brand were from the 2000 harvest. The vineyards are divided between two properties, Quinta de São Mateus and Quinta de Vale de Azar, and cover more than 170 hectares. The new winery was completed in 2004 and works exclusively with gravity throughout the winemaking process. Campolargo wines are produced following an oenological concept of maximum respect for the grapes and with the exclusion of any oenological additives.
