Returns
1. Port & Friends Wine Store recognizes the right of all its customers to terminate their contracts with it, allowing them to return products purchased within 14 (fourteen) days, in accordance with Decree-Law no. 143/2001 and Decree-Law 82/2008 of 20/05.
2. For exchanges or returns, the customer is requested to contact Port & Friends Wine Store by e-mail indicating the order number or the document that accompanied it, taking into account the conditions described below in the following topics:
- To return an order, the product must be in perfect condition, with its original packaging, accessories or promotional offers included, and accompanied by proof of purchase or invoice.
- Defective products and wrong shipments may be returned, and Port & Friends Wine Store will be responsible for shipping and collection costs provided that the customer reports this within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the product.
- Once the goods have been received at our premises and the condition of the goods has been validated, the value of the goods will be refunded in accordance with the payment method used by the customer, or another solution previously agreed with the customer.
3. Port & Friends Wine Store assumes responsibility for defects in the origin or raw materials of the product purchased, and if this is confirmed by Port & Friends Wine Store’s specialized team, the product will be exchanged or returned at no cost to the customer. Since we cannot control how you store your bottles, we will accept complaints about defective bottles within 30 days of purchase.
4. Port & Friends Wine Store will not accept the return of a product once it has been opened or used, or if it has been altered or modified.
5. Port & Friends Wine Store accepts no liability for defects arising from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or causes of force majeure.
6. Old and rare wines sold by Port & Friends Wine Store, due to their age and rarity, may not be in optimal condition. Port & Friends Wine Store cannot be held responsible for the quality of the wine, nor can it be held responsible for dirt or damaged labels, which are in keeping with its age.
Refunds
1. Port & Friends Wine Store undertakes to reimburse the Customer within a maximum of 15 days after we have received the items in our warehouse and checked their condition.
2. Whenever possible, the refund will be issued in the same form as the original payment. Alternatively, the customer may indicate that they want a refund by another means.
